Year-in-review

Greetings!  2013-14 in review: Concerts with tenor Angelo Ferrari; creator and Artistic Director of St. Anne's Tribute to Broadway with selected students of St. Anne Catholic School-Tomball; Concert with Robert Hermann, featuring great arts songs and song cycles from across the ages; Adjudicator for Loyola-NOLA's annual Concerto competition; programming for all events and Masses at St. Anne Catholic Church; interviewed by a biographer, who is writing the life story of my first professional mentor, Dr. Roy K. Johnston; concerts with area schools as their supporting pianist (Spring ISD)--and much more.  On the move!  

Houston news

Wow!  So much has happened!  I have adjusted to a Music Director's position, hustled to give master classes and teach talented young clarinetists, accompanied strings and choirs during UIL, created a concert series, participated in other series as pianist, and somehow have also found time to enjoy life.  I hope that there is more yet to come!

Update!

Wow!  It has been some time since I have responded here.  I have been busy with a Music Director's position here in the Spring/Tomball area and now await news regarding master classes for the 2013-14 academic year.  Recently, I worked with the Broadway Theatre Connection group at the New Orleans Center for the Creative and Performing Arts--season number three!  The teachers represented some of the best artists working in New York City and on Broadway. 

I am enjoying putting on my real love of living as a freelance artist.  Quality control makes a huge difference in this regard.  I await more involvement with the multicultural city of Houston and am happy to say that here I can use my Spanish every single day.

News!

In New Orleans: I am pleased to announce that "Sensatiable," Bon Operatit's New CD has been debuted and is available at CD Baby.  I was invited as pianist and arranger for this CD.  Arduous task--but good results. 

In Houston: Connected to fantastic teachers and their students and getting out there as a performer more and more frequently.

Working with students from Northland Christian, Spring HS and Ricky C Bailey Middle School....getting better acquainted with teaching and learning in the Spring area.  I am also enjoying other community related projects in Clearlake and the Houston Heights.  In addition, I am meeting wonderful people.  Feeling like there is more of a place for me here now.
